After recuperating from an accident, timid and petite 15‑year‑old Hiyori Nishiyama finally returns to school after a year"s absence. While she attempts to introduce herself before classmates, the tall and extroverted Yuushin Hirose interrupts her. Their pronounced differences in stature and temperament draw unwanted attention toward Hiyori, causing whispers among the students.
Although she initially dislikes Yuushin, Hiyori grows intrigued by his charisma. As they set aside their disparities, the pair quickly bond, prompting Hiyori to step out of her shell and embrace a newfound confidence in her new life today.
