In the latest series, Miraitchi and Kururutchi—twin sisters who aspire to become designers—travel from the future back into Dream Town. (Their names cleverly combine Japanese words for "future" and "miracle.") To return to their era, they must collect every one of the eight Dreambakutchi—mysterious Tamagotchi that have fled across the town"s lively neighborhoods in the heart of the city.
