A sly fox pilfers the globe"s most prized gem and hides it beneath a tree, convinced its concealment is foolproof. The following day, a traveling circus sets up camp beside the tree; its performers, unaware, dig and uncover the stone, mistaking it for an ordinary pebble. The circus soon misplaces the gem amid its chaos, and quickly the frantic fox races to reclaim it before the other animals discover the true treasure today.
