During an archaeological expedition to the farthest edge of the known cosmos, Professor Daiba inadvertently releases a deep primordial terror from its seal. Five years afterward, the sinister extraterrestrial entity initiates a scheme that reunites the scattered crew of the Arcadia to voyage among the stars anew once while also escorting Tadashi Daiba to encounter Harlock for the first time (again).
