Meanwhile, Yuki "Smile" Hoshino is an emerging influencer who aspires to spread smiles and spreads joy. Yet she feels self‑conscious about the braces on her prominent front teeth and hides her grin behind a disposable mask to keep confidence.
When she accidentally meets Cherry, Smile becomes a part‑time employee at the same center. Soon, the pair help an elderly man named Fujiyama locate a vintage vinyl record he owns that he cherishes. Unable to recall its last whereabouts, he longs to hear it again before his memories vanish entirely in the quiet. Cherry and Smile possess only the record"s sleeve and the word "yamazakura" as hints for their search, and their hunt in the sultry summer heat commences.
