ExWire students at True Cross Academy were shocked to learn Rin Okumura is Satan"s son. Yet now, a matter occupies them: the left eye of the Impure King—a demon—has vanished from the academy"s Keep. When an attempt to seize the right eye in Kyoto succeeds, Rin and his fellow ExWires are dispatched to uncover the motives behind the Impure King and the thief"s objective.
Although this assignment forces them to work together temporarily, Rin feels more alienated from the other exorcists than ever. To bridge that gap, he enrolls in training to master his dark power. Still, shortly after their arrival the right eye is stolen again, and the terrifying possibility of a traitor within their ranks forces them to summon ounce of strength they possess.
The loss of the eye threatens chaos in the realm, and rumors say the Impure King may use it to break its bonds. The ExWires must navigate alliances and betrayals to recover the stolen eyes before darkness consumes all.
