In 2019, humanity is trying to solve the problem of combat robots called "MAKINA," which possess artificial intelligence and high synchronization with their pilots. From time to time, such mechs arrive from low Earth orbit. To meet the "guest" and prevent major damage, there is a corporation called JUDA. But one day, during an operation to neutralize a mech named Linebarrel, it suddenly deviates from its course. On the same day, an unnamed third‑grade student at Hayase Middle School, Koiti, is hit from the sky by a naked girl and a giant robot—so yesterday"s unremarkable loser, who only dreamed of becoming a "guardian of justice," finds himself drawn into a secret war involving intelligence services, Self‑Defense Forces, and the war criminals of Kato‑Kikan. Koiti gains supernatural abilities, summons Linebarrel, and becomes the pilot of this mysterious mech. The youth is happy; he still does not know that his life has changed forever.
