In a near future, to tackle congestion and the rise of vertical living caused by population growth, Tokyo was redesigned around a shared‑city concept where streets and urban layout shift throughout the day. The city"s infrastructure now reconfigures itself at dawn, noon and night, allowing commuters to share transit routes and public spaces that adapt to the flow of people. Nico, a woman strolling through this transformed metropolis, is enjoying her day off but feels unsure about plans or companions. She longs for something thrilling to happen spontaneously, hoping the city"s nature will surprise her.
Suddenly, a truck speeds past her. Its booming music and eye‑catching decals bring to mind the vehicle everyone"s buzzing about online. Instantly, Nico chases after it, colliding with Gatsu and Makito in the process. She hops into their A‑Class sedan, and together they pursue the truck as it races through a city that morphs rapidly, leaving streets behind.
