Yukari Kurotori, a fifth‑grade pupil, is fascinated by the supernatural. One afternoon her classmate asks her to perform a love reading. She attempts to call Cupid, but because of a blocked nose she inadvertently summons a witch called Gyubid instead!
From that moment, Yukari begins training in sorcery under Gyubid, who brands herself the most alluring teacher in the magical realm. The curriculum is demanding and penalties for neglect are severe. Luckily, Yukari can conceal her after‑school lessons, thanks to the fact that Gyubid is invisible to everyone else.
