When Prince Siegfried first sees a gorgeous swan wearing a jeweled crown, he feels an irresistible urge to pursue it. He soon learns that the bird is actually Princess Odette, transformed into a swan each day by a sorcerer's enchantment. The wizard Rothbart wishes to possess her, yet the only way to lift the curse is a lover who devotes his entire heart and soul. Thus, Siegfried vows to break the spell by proving his devotion through unwavering love and steadfast courage.
