No matter how much a rope twists, it will eventually reach its end. Kaiji Ito, a denizen of Tokyo"s underworld and professional gambler, despite all his feats in the first season, ultimately ended up with a nose. And it"s good that he stayed (and even managed to sew his fingers back)! Only the debt to the grim corporation "Tei" nearly doubled, and Kaiji"s run from creditors was brief. An old acquaintance, Endo‑san, to whom the unlucky player turned for help, sent him to the perfect debt prison – an underground labor camp of the aforementioned corporation, where the main character got a chance to pay off his debt in just 15 years. If, of course, he survives… Thus Kaiji was sent to the prison in full force. However, the shrewd owners left inmates a loophole – camp currency paid for labor that can be used to play, and by amassing enough one could buy a whole day of freedom. Moreover, you can play with fellow misfortunes or with "Tei" guards; they are just happy to extend the poor people"s sentences. However, the hero quickly realized that such games are designed for one gate only, meaning you have to fight by your own rules. The game is worth the candle when life and freedom are on the line, and debts must be paid – in every sense!
