Saiga is an ordinary high‑schooler who excels at math. His routine shatters when his family learns that his father's body has been found—an esteemed archaeologist who vanished years ago while excavating a remote site. The recovered remains include notes and relics that the family must examine near a famed triangular peak in Japan, dubbed "Japan"s pyramid," which some suspect is artificial. A meteor laden with an alien robotic organism crashes from the heavens, wreaking havoc and endangering Saiga. A mysterious wristband from his father"s studies activates, fusing him with an ancient machine buried inside the pyramid—a robot called Reideen as described by the runes. Now Saiga and his guardian, Reideen, must confront the extraterrestrial menace descending from above. Their combined strength and the ancient technology must be leveraged to unravel the mystery behind the meteor"s origin and protect humanity from potential catastrophe.
