Shinichi Chiaki overcomes his fear of flying, and Megumi "Nodame" Noda earns an invitation to the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris after a stunning performance at a piano contest. The duo travels to Paris together, with Chiaki stepping into the role of an emerging conductor under the guidance of the celebrated maestro Franz von Stresemann, while Nodame becomes a student of the renowned piano teacher Charles Auclair.
Yet the musical arena is far larger than they could have imagined. Together with old allies and fresh adversaries, Chiaki and Nodame must battle and persist to reach the brilliant peaks that lie ahead, all while keeping their priorities intact.
