Cook is one of the Uwabaki (school shoes) that fits his left foot, and a brother of his accidentally fell into a trash bin. Cook was then cast aside as well. To locate his missing sibling, he embarks on a quest.
Despite appearing shy, Cook"s fierce sense of justice compels him to aid anyone in distress.
At times he doubts his own abilities when traveling solo, yet befriending objects like books, spectacles and stools along the way empowers him and discovers the courage within himself to protect others and grow.
