In a far‑off era, Earth faces invasion from the Abh Empire, an advanced humanoid civilization with technology far beyond humanity's. As innumerable planets succumb to Abh domination, humans form the Four Nations Alliance—an insurgent coalition of United Mankind, Greater Alcont Republic, Hania Federation, and Union Planets' People"s Sovereign.
Seikai no Monshou follows Jinto Linn. As a youth, his father—the Martine president—traded their planet for a high rank within the empire. Now, as a young count, Jinto must adapt to Abh aristocratic customs and coexist with those who enslaved his kin. He is aided by Lafiel Abriel, a stoic Abh princess who becomes an instant ally. While en route to Jinto"s new academy on the Abh world, their vessel is drawn into a fierce orbital clash between Alliance and Abh fleets.
