Suddenly, the middle‑aged illustrator Kenichi Hamada is whisked into a foreign realm in an instant, without warning. Though he lands in an alien land, he discovers that his connection to the online store Shangri‑La—one he used back in Japan—remains intact, allowing him to order nearly anything for every need. Soon after, Kenichi stumbles upon a village and, leveraging Shangri‑La, chooses to set up shop there in the bustling market.
By vending Earth goods, he quickly earns a livelihood and attracts both friends and local businesses. Yet the man simply seeks a tranquil existence free of disturbances, so he departs the village to construct a lodge in a nearby woodland. Though occasional interruptions arise, nothing can deter Kenichi from enjoying his serene days in the tranquil forest.
