Yukawa Kouzou is an ardent onsen aficionado—a seeker who could detect the origins of mineral springs. One day, while hunting for a concealed onsen to rejuvenate a village, he falls from a precipice and perishes. He is then reborn in another realm by an Inari spirit of a modest shrine tucked within the crags. Kouzou is accompanied by Inari's envoy princess, Mayudama. The onsen hunter inside him awakens instantly as he soaks with Mayudama in the newly found hot spring. Suddenly, an elf maiden materializes in the shimmering waters, attracting curious eyes and a mist above.
