In 2016, the very pillars of humanity were scorched by Mage King Solomon. Chaldea—a clandestine guild of mages dedicated to safeguarding the future—predicted humanity's demise in 2015. Consequently, Operation Grand Order began to mend the timeline fractures created by scattered Holy Grails across space and time.
Employing Rayshift chronal tech, Chaldea"s final master Ritsuka Fujimaru and his demi‑servant Mash Kyrielight have already closed six temporal anomalies. They now set out for their most perilous mission: a civilization in the Age of Gods, Mesopotamia around 2655 B.C. There they encounter demonic beasts that assault villages and towns. In the midst of this chaos stands Uruk, a fortified city serving as humanity"s last bulwark. Its defense is led by King Gilgamesh, the Hero King, who has called upon Heroic Spirits and taken on a mage"s mantle to shield his realm.
Together with Gilgamesh and the summoned servants, Ritsuka and Mash must defend Uruk from the beastly assault and vanquish the Three Goddess Alliance intent on annihilating mankind, all while a deeper menace threatens to awaken over the city.
