Long ago, there were only them on Earth. Perhaps they existed even before the very birth of life itself, though they are life. They resemble nothing else. For centuries people have revered and feared them, calling them "Mushi." They can influence life or simply remain on the sidelines. To avoid their harmful influence, people called Master Mushi appeared. This story is about one of those masters, Ginko, who, however, differs greatly from the others.
