Driven by his deep love for the sport, he immediately signs up for the school"s soccer team, which earned its legendary status after a breathtaking performance a decade ago at Football Frontier International—a global tournament that gathers the finest youth squads from every corner of the world. Unfortunately, the once‑glorious school has long since lost its vibrant football spirit.
The decline is largely due to Japan"s soccer being ruled by a shadowy organization known as the "Fifth Sector." This clandestine group alone determines the outcome of every match, issuing orders that force teams to win or lose at will. Their ruthless manipulation has crushed the national clubs, eroding players" passion and turning the game into a mere instrument of control.
Tenma and his new teammates resolve to overturn this oppressive system and confront their malevolent overlords.
