Makina slipped into unconsciousness as the Marishi Machina armor created by Hyuga Corporation seized her body, propelling her forward onto the newly opened Shutoko expressway aboard an MT‑07. Fortunately, Dan managed to halt her before catastrophe struck. Mounting Makina onto the rear of his MT‑09 Street Rally, Dan set off toward Genesis Café only to be confronted by Hyuga Corporation chairman Mitsukuni Hyuga, who awaited them with a disquieting look.
