In the twenty‑second century, interstellar travel, planetary settlement and anti‑gravity hoops are ordinary. Earth has turned hostile, so humanity dwells on orbital colonies around other worlds. During a school excursion, an error sends the protagonist—a new transfer named Luna—her robotic companion and six classmates into a gravity vortex, crashing them onto an apparently deserted planet. There Luna takes command alongside the mechanical feline Chako, the solitary Kaoru, the privileged Howard, the timid Sharla, the compliant Bell, the haughty musician Menori and the prodigious Shingo. Together they struggle to survive. Yet the planet may not be empty; some unseen presence lurks in the darkness, watching, its silent, alien landscape conceals dangers that test their resolve and force them to confront the mysteries of existence beyond human comprehension for a future of hope.
