Long ago, humanity was nearly annihilated by gigantic humanoid beasts known as Titans, compelling people to seek refuge behind vast concentric walls. What makes these colossi especially frightening is that their appetite for human flesh seems driven by pleasure rather than mere hunger. To survive, the surviving humans settled within protective fortifications, leading to a century of peace without any Titan contact. Yet that fragile serenity was abruptly broken when an enormous Titan broke through the once‑impervious outer wall, sparking a renewed struggle for survival against these flesh‑eating monsters.

After enduring a devastating personal tragedy inflicted by the invaders, Eren Yeager commits himself to eradicating them by joining the Survey Corps, a specialized army that fights the ruthless Titans beyond the walls. Together with his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman and childhood friend Armin Arlert, Eren engages in the brutal conflict and strives to find a method to defeat the Titans before the final walls collapse.
