After completing their journey inside the enchanted volume *The Universe of the Four Gods*, Miaka Yuuki and Yui Hongo return to ordinary life with one twist: when they re‑enter the real world, Miaka may bring her beloved Tamahome along.
Soon after, fresh troubles threaten the couple"s newly won joy. While visiting the graves of the two other girls who had journeyed into *The Universe of the Four Gods*, Tamahome is swallowed by a crimson glow and vanishes before Miaka can react. Seeing the baffling scene, her brother Keisuke and his close friend Tetsuya Kajiwara decide to aid the devastated Miaka in locating her lost love.
At the same time, Tamahome is pulled back into the book and discovers that fifty years have elapsed since his exit. He learns to his astonishment that he has swapped places with his old foe, Nakago. Will the pair overcome these trials to meet again, or will they remain apart forever?
**Fushigi Yuugi Otsukare Ian Bus Ryokou: Kindan no Josei Onsen-hen**
The divine champions Suzaku and Seiryuu, together with their priestesses Miaka Yuuki and Yui Hongo, receive a bus ride to a secluded hot‑spring retreat for some downtime. Though the trip is long, the cheerful group liven it up by playing playful pranks on one another, unaware of the surprise that awaits them at the end.
