In a distant future humanity had expanded beyond Earth and flourished across the stars. Suddenly, an event known as Jikushin – a quake of time and space – shattered all communication grids, wiping out every civilization. From the ashes humanity began to rebuild, ushering in a new golden age called The Second under the rule of the Transvaal Empire at the heart of the galaxy. Technology that had vanished before the reset, termed Lost Technology, was now seen as a divine gift and venerated by priests called Tsuki no miko.
At the edge of the galactic system a guard fleet patrolled. Within this seemingly conventional army was an all‑female unit named the Angel Corps. They piloted a vessel called the Angel Frame, itself a relic of Lost Technology, and used it to harvest and safeguard those ancient artifacts. Though not the empire"s top pilots, the Angel Corps were a quirky collective: Forte the arms fanatic, Mint the costume designer, Vanilla the quiet one, Ranpha the flamboyant performer, and Milfeulle who adored cooking. Their antics routinely caused chaos during missions.
