At fifteen, Hana Tabata has already accepted that she will never experience a memorable high‑school romance. She loves shōjo manga, flowers and all things cute, yet she sees herself as only a background figure: slightly plump, with a round face, glasses and freckles—features that might make her conventionally unattractive. However, when she unexpectedly befriends Yousuke Ueno, a warm and charming classmate, everything changes. His gentle smile and supportive words gradually erode her self‑doubt.
