Azusa Kannawa, the star of the publicity division, is celebrated for her unwavering dependability. Her colleagues, however, view her straight‑forward attitude as intimidating. Unbeknownst to them, beneath the stern exterior lies a socially awkward woman who struggles with everyday conversation and compensates with a hard‑edge persona. When the promising newcomer Yuu Kamegawa arrives and Kannawa is tasked with mentoring him, her disguise begins to falter. Determined to train Kamegawa as her own mentor did, she devotes all her energy to teaching him the trade. As their relationship deepens, she gradually relaxes her defenses and reveals that the seemingly rigid department ace is actually kinder than anyone imagined.
