Yuu Natsume crossed paths with Himari Inuzuka during middle school, where he attempted to market accessories crafted from preserved blossoms. Upon hearing Yuu's aspiration to open a boutique for his creations, Himari pledged her support. In their sophomore year of high school, Yuu sells his pieces online, aided by Himari who models and advertises them. As Yuu's confidant, Himari vows that if his dream remains unrealized by the age of thirty, she will marry him.
Subsequently Yuu encounters Rin Enomoto, a girl donning one of his earliest designs. The two had known each other as children and Rin was Yuu's first romantic interest. Himari encourages their reunion, hoping to lift Yuu from a creative lull and secure him a partner. For the first time, someone else truly grasps Yuu's skill and seeks friendship. As Rin and Yuu get closer, Himari struggles to keep her feelings for her friend in check while her heart aches for his future and she hides her longing behind a smile today.
