In the clash between the Celestial Dragons and the Terrestrial Dragons, the prophetic Princess Hinoto foresees humanity"s demise in a trembling vision. The pivotal figure, 15‑year‑old Kamui Shirou, must decide whether to side with the Terrestrial Dragons and annihilate society to safeguard the planet or join the Celestial Dragons to preserve mankind. Their ancient rivalry has torn the world asunder, each believing their cause is righteous.
Honoring his mother"s final wish, Kamui returns to Tokyo after six years of self‑exile. He tries to pilfer the Sacred Sword from the shrine guarded by Kyougo Monou—the father of his childhood companions Fuuma and Kotori. Yet, after Kamui"s attempt fails, an enigmatic individual secures the blade instead. The Sacred Sword is said to channel the planet"s hidden power, coveted by all.
Thinking Kamui is the prophesied hero, Hinoto dispatches the Celestial Dragons to recruit him. Though Kamui initially rejects his fate, relentless assaults by the Terrestrial Dragons on those he loves compel him to weigh whether his friends" survival outweighs Earth"s destiny and ultimately choose a side.
