Subaru Sumeragi, the thirteenth leader of the Sumeragi Clan and a formidable onmyōji, is contracted to cleanse a construction site. Yet his patron vanishes under mysterious circumstances. The sole suspect is a man who continually escapes death in perilous scenarios, repeatedly walking away from fatal situations. Afterward, Subaru encounters a young woman determined to curse that man, claiming he murdered her brother. He must uncover the cause of his patron"s demise and confront the malevolent spirits shielding the suspect, aided by his friend and twin sister, Seishirou Sakurazuka and Hokuto Sumeragi for justice and revenge.
