Plague is a terrifying phenomenon. It cannot be escaped from. It cannot be fenced off. It cannot be stopped. Once it erupts, the plague destroys everything in its path. One day an old woman with a scythe came to the village of Otsuka. Then the residents of neighboring villages decided to warn of disaster and burn the village before the plague would spread to them. But that day destiny‑witch was generous, blessing three lucky ones: two boys and a girl. They found their salvation in an old little church near the dark forest where frightening creatures dwell. Five years passed. But the villagers did not forget that incident. Their own conscience ignited hatred toward the saved children, foreigners, those unlike others. Fortunately or unfortunately, the church"s wards cannot attend school. Therefore the trio lives peacefully in the forest, only occasionally venturing into "civilization." However, village children often drop by, curious. And moreover! The eldest, Socke Inukawa, grew up to be a handsome tall brunette. Girls easily fall for his kind and enigmatic nature. The girl, Hamadzi, does not lag behind the "brother." All boys are simply crazy about her, and their mothers say she will be a wonderful wife (though they don"t know how terrible she cooks!). And the third, a boy… or girl? Or still a boy? It doesn"t matter; well, he is also handsome. So much so that sometimes he"s mistaken for a girl. However even here they were found. And soon mysterious incidents begin to happen. Moreover, the imperial church itself suddenly became interested in their "mysterious salvation" and Murasame"s blade! Perhaps this time help will arrive in time?
