Otaku siblings Tamotsu and Niwaka Denkigai are strolling through Akihabara's neon‑lit streets when the district is seized by vampiric cosplay fiends in the bustling neon glow! These beings, called 'Bugged Ones,' who roam the streets, can enslave anyone they bite and quickly spread chaos throughout the metropolis, in its heart. As Tamotsu becomes a victim of one such fiend, he is saved by the enigmatic baseball bat‑armed Matome Mayonaka. Together they battle several more Bugged Ones with fierce determination boldly, yet soon Tamotsu is mortally injured while shielding Matome. With no other option, she resurrects him as a powerful Bugged One—exactly like herself! Tamotsu and Matome, joined by enthusiastic otaku cosplayer Arisa Ahokainen, form the squad 'The Electric Mayonnaise' and start vanquishing Bugged Ones by stripping them of their garments and laying them bare to daylight!
