During the long summer holidays, Gash and his close companions set out for Mount Fuji to enjoy a relaxed picnic. While there, they encounter a mysterious girl named Kotoha who is holding a pristine white spellbook. The book reveals a cryptic note stating that Gash"s mother is hidden inside a secluded cave deep within the surrounding forest. When they finally discover this cave, they find that a blond‑haired youth named Wiseman is already there, waiting. Determined to rescue him, Gash and the others venture further into the cave"s dark depths and stumble upon a hidden portal that leads to an entirely different realm. Shortly thereafter, the most formidable warrior known as the Black Knight appears before them, convinced that Gash stole the 101st spellbook. He launches an attack, forcing Gash and Kiyomaro to locate the real culprit within exactly 24 hours or risk being trapped in that alternate world forever.
