Tsurugi Tatewaki is an energetic teenager raised in a countryside, with only vague memories of his parents. One day at home he stumbles upon a blade that, when grasped, transforms into a Battle Spirits card. As the armed forces of Atlantia converge on him with the intent to seize the card, fragments of Tsurugi"s hidden past begin to unravel.
Accompanied by a companion named Bringer, he travels to the capital and encounters warriors wielding swords. The stakes rise as factions vie for the card, and Tsurugi must navigate a web of deception that threatens tear Atlantia apart. As mysteries unfold, Tsurugi is forced to question everything he believes—judgments and line that separates good from evil.
