Once upon a time, the terrible Curse of Kadzan fell upon the continent of Arad, bringing forth various monsters: trolls, goblins, and other unpleasant creatures. The village lad Baron received his share of the curse – his left hand became possessed by a demon, which caused the boy to be feared and expelled by his fellow villagers. In aimless wanderings he stumbled upon an enchanted sword with a guardian spirit named Roxy, and with their help he was able not only to survive but also become a Demon Knight, a very formidable fighter. However, the hand that could betray him at any moment of battle and turn him into a demon irreversibly is not needed by Baron. His main goal in life is to learn enough about his curse to rid himself of it. In his travels across Arad in search of healing, the main character, as is fitting, gradually assembles a diverse team of adventurers – to make it more fun. And then everything follows the canon of role‑playing games – the demon knight Baron, the fist fighter Ryunmei, the cheerful archer Kabensis, the young sorceress Ikxia, and the holy warrior Zeda will keep both themselves and the audience from boredom!
