In China during the 3rd century BCE, the Warring States era continues. The Son of Heaven has long been absent from the throne; everyone fights everyone else, but gradually the fragments of the Celestial Empire have coalesced into seven states, among which stands out the predatory and aggressive Qin kingdom. On its border, in a remote village, two young men—Xin and Hyeu—grow up as war‑orphaned. Naturally, the fate of poor battalions does not satisfy steadfast friends, and they train frenziedly, striving to join the military, build a career, and become great commanders. Suddenly an incredible opportunity falls into their laps—the passing nobleman takes Hyeu to the palace, and Xin, like a thread pulled by a needle, fate drags him along… Before us slowly unfolds an epic saga of choice and the Path, treachery and loyalty, a youthful ruler who believes in Law, and a young warrior who believes only in his sword. The action takes place against the backdrop of one of their most intriguing and mysterious eras of Ancient China, which ended with its unification and the construction of the Great Wall. Whether Xin will fulfill his dream remains unknown, but he will have to fight a lot—after all, compared with Qin wars even the Three Kingdoms look pale!
