Momona is a typical junior‑high student from Jewel Land. At her cousin"s nuptial, she feels jealous of the bride, Lady Diana, because the groom is the cousin she once fancied. Momona encounters her guide and partner, Ruby, a white rabbit, who will lead her through the challenges of becoming Lady Jewel. Whoever completes the most trials wins the crown and ascends as the next Lady Jewel, but Lillian, another contender eager to claim the title so she can appoint her brother Cayenne as her king, stands in Momona"s path. Soon Momona also falls for Cayenne, though Lillian resists her getting close to him. Cayenne seems to feel the same for Momona, yet who will ultimately be chosen as Lady Jewel?
