The plot unfolds in a distant future. As a result of a demographic crisis, the human population has fallen almost to zero. The remaining people live in villages and fight for their survival every day. The most numerous species on the planet became "Gnomes," small creatures about 10 centimeters tall, possessing high intelligence. The main heroine is called to become an arbitrator of the United Nations Organization, to establish relations between humans and gnomes. Returning to her native village together with her grandfather, she begins to establish contact with our small friends. But it turns out that not everything is so simple and the gnomes are actually not as simple as they seem.
