Do gods and ghosts really exist only in stories? That's the belief that high‑school student Tamaki Kasuga holds before moving to her grandmother"s house in the secluded village of Kifumura. Upon arrival, she is ambushed by bizarre beasts and quickly learns that the women in her lineage carry the blood of the Tamayori Princess, who bears the duty and power to seal away deities and spirits so they cannot harm ordinary people.
