Aramis was thrown from her horse and found help in a man called François. They fell for each other instantly and enjoyed their days together for some time. When François was slain by Manson and the Ironmask"s men, Aramis vowed vengeance. She then journeyed to Paris to join the musketeers.
A year after the television series concluded, D"Artagnan shared a drink with three musketeers and discovered that Jussac and the Cardinal"s guards were harassing a woman in a Paris tavern. Naturally, they fought Jussac and the guards and prevailed. While returning home, D"Artagnan saw the woman he had saved from Jussac about to plunge into the river, and rescued her once more. He brought her home, but she vanished shortly thereafter. The next day he learned that the woman had been killed the previous night, and Rochefort and the Cardinal"s guards arrested him for murder because his hat was found beside her body. Aramis realizes that the tale is linked to Catherine de Médicis and begins an investigation. This leads her back to the beloved"s castle, where she must confront Pizzaro to safeguard a perilous document. Her determination would test her resolve and the fate of France.
