Ikurou Hoshi and Sara Haizaki serve as the concierge duo at Hotel Inhumans, a boutique establishment that exclusively welcomes contract killers. They attend to every wish their clientele might have, never saying the word "no." Ikurou focuses on delving into each guest"s past and profession, while Sara defends the property with skills that rival those of the patrons. Still, although he provides every conceivable service to these killers, Ikurou loathes those who murder for a paycheck and declares each day that he will resign. Yet the more tasks he and Sara complete for their guests, the deeper Ikurou discovers an unforeseen humanity within these assassins. Each look into the lives and motives of people who kill for a living reveals that they are not so unlike him or Sara, and a shared understanding of darkness.
