Nestled in an unending dusk, the Tasogare Hotel opens its doors to anyone caught between existence and oblivion. Without knowing their destiny, visitors must retrieve forgotten recollections by finding keepsakes concealed in the room assigned to them. Most depart or rejoin the living realm within a few days, yet some linger beyond the usual stay. Neko Tsukahara, a young woman with a blank countenance, arrives at this place. Guided by the staff, she recovers enough of her past to empathize with fellow guests. As Neko slowly pieces together her memories, she becomes involved in the stories of those around her. Unraveling their dilemmas and the hotel"s enigma proves far too compelling; Neko resolves that merely staying is insufficient for her inquisitive spirit.
