Hiiragi Kashima and Shizusumi "Shizu" Yagi"s new group syh is preparing for its debut, yet they hit a snag when their backup guitarist departs. Even though Hiiragi frequently argues with Ritsuka Uenoyama—the self‑confident boyfriend of his childhood friend Mafuyu Satou—he persuades him to step in as a provisional member.
Although tensions flare, Hiiragi recognizes Uenoyama"s skill and admires his diligence—so much that he asks him to finish an old track left unfinished by Mafuyu"s former boyfriend, Yuki Yoshida. While drafting, recording, and shooting a music video, Hiiragi confronts his affection for the distant Shizu and struggles to express those emotions.
At the same time, the band given—formed by Uenoyama, Mafuyu, and their colleagues Haruki Nakayama and Akihiko Kaji—also receives a debut invitation. The lineup is eager, except Mafuyu, who has never considered a professional music career. As Uenoyama seeks to grasp Yuki"s style and emulate his distinctive tone, Mafuyu withdraws to reflect on the impending shifts in his life, worried about an uncertain future in the days ahead for tomorrow.
