The Armed Detective Agency remains pursued by the Hunting Dogs, yet hope persists. Detective Ranpo Edogawa has devised a scheme to vindicate the Agency and avert global turmoil: locate and apprehend Kamui, head of the terrorist group Decay of the Angel.
To pinpoint Kamui"s location, Ranpo and his partner Atsushi Nakajima must persuade Ouchi Fukuchi, the famed captain of the Hunting Dogs, to grant amnesty. Though assigned to detain Agency members, Fukuchi"s history with the Agency"s president, Yukichi Fukuzawa, could unlock his cooperation. Unbeknownst to them, however, Fukuchi may not be as virtuous as he claims. His motives remain shrouded, and the stakes of this delicate negotiation could alter the fate of countless lives today.
