Robot housekeepers are appearing in every home, and ten‑year‑old Bondo Taira discovers that his two best friends—Motsuo and Gachi Gorilla—also own such helpers. Motsuo, in particular, possesses Meico, a stunning robot that delivers superb massages and serves beverages with a grin. Envious of his companion, Bondo persuades his mother to buy him an order maid, hoping for the same delight. Yet, to Bondo"s astonishment, the assistant that materializes at his threshold is exceptionally strong and awkward enough to wreck a dwelling while doing basic chores. Named Roboko, this new machine is the polar opposite of what Bondo expected. Nevertheless, Bondo and his friends realize that Roboko holds far more than they imagined. They soon discover that beneath its exterior lies a clever mind.
