The routine of vigilantism shatters when Asguiaro Ebern, a formidable Arrancar, appears, announcing the return of Yhwach, an ancient Quincy king. Yhwach aims to rekindle the age‑old blood feud between Soul Reapers and Quincys, and he intends to obliterate both the human realm and the Soul Society forever.
