Half a century ago, enigmatic beings dubbed the "Huge" abruptly emerged worldwide, threatening humanity"s very existence. To counter these dangers, teenage girls called "Lilies" channel their inner "Magie" to fuel weapons named "Counter Huge ARMS" or simply "CHARMS."
Two years earlier, while fleeing a Huge onslaught, Riri Hitotsuyanagi was rescued by one such Lily. Determined to follow in her footsteps, she entered the renowned Yurigaoka Academy—Lilies" training hub—and soon learns that her new classmate, Yuyu Shirai, is the very Lily who saved her. Though Yuyu appears lively at first glance, she is actually withdrawn and prefers solo combat. Nevertheless, Riri yearns to bond with Yuyu and will go to any length to achieve it.
Together with Yuyu and the other Lilies, Riri"s path toward becoming one of them has just begun.
