The anime tells of the tragedy that occurred in 2016, when a strong earthquake struck Kumamoto Prefecture and claimed the lives of dozens of people. Learning about this terrible event, a Tokyo University student named Natsuna Keiyaki travels to the city of Kumamoto to search for friends she was unable to contact after the catastrophe. Upon arriving, she meets local residents who rush to help each other and have not lost hope or optimism, such as the energetic senior high‑school student Izumi Tiba. Despite the sad backdrop of events, this is a heartfelt story about humanity and growing up.
