From the celestial artifact called the Chaos Pearl, two essences are drawn: the Spirit Pearl and the Demon Orb. To curb their might, the Celestial Lord dispatches the Spirit Pearl to Earth, where it will be reborn as Ne Zha, Li Jing"s third child, while the Demon Orb is slated to be annihilated by a thunderbolt. Yet, owing to the Dragon King"s plot to seize the Spirit Pearl for his own heir, Ne Zha is reborn carrying the Demon Orb instead.
Unable to rid himself of the orb"s cursed influence, Ne Zha grows up convinced he is destined to become the great demon‑hunter that the Spirit Pearl foretold. Confronting his wild and trickster nature, he must choose whether to embrace the dark destiny or defy it to prove his worthiness of the future promised by his parents. In the face of looming celestial trials, his resolve is tested for the greater good.
