Sakura Minamoto yearned to be an idol, yet fate struck her like a truck, ending her life in a sudden traffic collision. While grappling with her new reality, she encounters Koutarou Tatsumi, who reveals he revived her and six other undead girls from various eras to rejuvenate Saga through an idol troupe. Taking on the role of a gruff manager, Koutarou schedules performances; the girls comply, eventually christening their unit Franchouchou. This absurdly humorous spin on idol culture follows Franchouchou"s heartening quest to rescue Saga Prefecture, all while concealing their undead status and relearning the lives they once led. Their journey is filled with slapstick mishaps, heartfelt rehearsals, and unexpected fan support that slowly rebuilds the town"s economy. Meanwhile, they uncover clues about their former lives.
